Frequently Asked Questions About Hypnotherapy
I’m nervous about hypnosis. What is the most important thing I should know about it?
Hypnosis is simply a deeply relaxed state of mind. You’ve been in and out of it your whole life, and it’s likely that it will feel strangely familiar to you. Any past trauma we encounter will be transformed and rewritten. I’m here to create a safe and judgment-free space for your healing.
How will I know it’s working?
Over time, the benefits of your sessions will compound. You’ll notice that you are responding differently to situations that would normally trigger you. You’re feeling calmer and significantly less reactive.
How many sessions will I need?
I am dedicated in helping my clients experience lasting change. In order to help you create change that is significant and sustainable, hypnotherapy works best with repetition. Committing to a program that lasts several months can be a big step, but it so much faster and more impactful than years of traditional therapy.
Do I need to have sessions weekly?
Yes! I encourage all my clients to have sessions weekly and at the same time. If your schedule changes frequently, make sure that you are still booking weekly sessions.
What are most of your sessions like?
The first session is 90 minutes long. This appointment includes additional time for us to create your unique healing blueprint. The second half is reserved for hypnosis. This first hypnosis session is general and designed to teach your mind how to relax deeply. All follow-up sessions are 60 minutes long. These sessions start with weekly check-ins and end with approximately 30 minutes of hypnosis.
Why do your sessions come in packages?
Research has proven that consistent hypnosis makes a difference. With multiple sessions, each unhealthy pattern can be treated with more than one technique. This allows us to create lasting results together and fully reprogram the neural networks in your brain.
How much do hypnotherapy sessions cost?
Most clients benefit from many sessions on the same topic. The first few sessions are pivotal as you learn how to relax deeply and build awareness in your life. Hypnotherapy is an incredible investment in you. Every person has a natural born right to feel peaceful, calm and good on a regular basis. So focus on the benefits, not the cost. Pricing is provided during a consultation call.
How did you learn hypnotherapy?
I trained with one of the world's premier hypnotherapists, Grace Smith. I am also a Certified Master Trainer training new hypnotherapists.
